Hi, I’m Maisie – a qualified, accredited REBT/CBT therapist and integrative counsellor. 🌷

Therapy with me is honest, down-to-earth, and completely human. No pressure to have the right words. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are – messy bits and all.

I work with people navigating all sorts of things; anxiety, fear, phobias, depression, low self-worth, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, or just feeling completely stuck. Whatever’s going on, you don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we’ll unpack it at your pace – with warmth, flexibility and zero judgement.

I work integratively, which means I shape therapy around you. Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy and CBT are at the heart of what I do, helping us explore how your beliefs influence the way you feel and respond – but I’m not just a cognitive therapist. I’m also a counsellor, and the relationship we build is just as important as the tools we use. I bring in EMDR, compassion-focused therapy, identity and values work, boundaries, and classic counselling skills, all tailored to what feels most supportive for you🌼.

My style is kind, real, and not afraid to gently challenge when it’s needed. Therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or cold – it can be a space where you feel seen, supported, and a little more like yourself again.

Online therapy

I offer online therapy sessions via Microsoft Teams, providing a secure and convenient way to access support from wherever you are. All sessions take place in my private office, where I use headphones to ensure your confidentiality is fully protected. Your privacy and comfort are my priority, and you can rest assured that every conversation remains strictly confidential.

I specialise in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), an evidence-based approach that helps you explore and gently challenge the beliefs behind difficult emotions like anxiety, fear, and overwhelm. I blend REBT with counselling skills to offer a space that’s both supportive and change-focused – we move at your pace, depending on what you need.

 

I most often support clients with:

  • Anxiety, persistent worry, and emotional overwhelm

  • Fears and phobias that feel like they’re getting in the way of life

  • Low self-esteem, harsh self-criticism, and overthinking

  • People-pleasing, perfectionism, and struggling to say “no”

Whether it’s social anxiety, a specific phobia, or that constant feeling of dread that you just can’t shake, we’ll work together to unpack what’s going on underneath. Clients usually start to notice meaningful shifts within 15–20 sessions, but therapy is completely flexible – some people want practical tools and strategies, others just need a calm space to talk things through and feel less alone.
