Online Counselling Chester
I'm an online and telephone counsellor working with a variety of issues such as anxiety, stress, social anxiety, fears, phobias, trauma and more.My approach is person centred counselling which means I believe that you are the expert of your life and you have the answers. As a result, the sessions are led by you. I am not here to give advice but to help you explore what matters to you, process things, and find your own way forward.
That being said, I do have resources I can share with you if we work together, and we can explore what works best for you.
Online therapy
I use doxy.me for online video therapy sessions and I will send you a link which we can use for all our sessions. You can access the virtual room from your phone, tablet or computer. All you need to do is click on the link which takes you to a virtual waiting room, and I'll let you in to join the call at the agreed upon time.
Telephone counselling sessions are also available.

Specialisations and Expertises
I work with a lot of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. As someone with lived experience, I understand feeling lost, misunderstood, and questioning your identity. I also understand the fear and anxiety that can come with feeling different to others, coming out and living authentically. My counselling sessions are LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodivergent affirming.Throughout my counselling work I've had positive outcomes supporting clients through grief and bereavement. We can explore what the person meant to you, how you remember them or honour them, and how you adjust to life without them. Each relationship is different and you make your own meaning of the loss. Sometimes the loss can feel so intense that you avoid any reminders of them. However, this can mean that you avoid many places which can prevent you from living your life, making the anxiety worse in the long run. Although grief tends to stay with you and its significance remains the same, your life will continue to grow around it.
