Counselling Bexhill-on-Sea
Hello, welcome to my Counselling Page. Seeking therapy can be scary so well done for starting to look for support, to help with some potentially difficult issues. I offer short and long term counselling for individuals and couples. I work from premises in Bexhill or remotely via Zoom or phone.
Anxiety, fear and trauma can affect us all at certain times in our lives. It can be helpful to talk this through with someone who will listen, understand and work alongside you to help with your recovery. It is important to go at your own pace, and only when you are ready to explore some potentially very difficult feelings, thoughts and emotions.
If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message via the send a message - button.
Online therapy
I use Zoom, WhatsApp Video Call and Voice Call. Online therapy can be just as useful as face-to-face sessions, with the added benefit of being in your familar environment without the need to travel anywhere. I would send you a contract by email, for you to read before our sessions, to ensure we are working in a safe and ethical way.Qualifications and registrations
I have a Diploma in Counselling (achieved in 2009), and a Diploma in Supervision (achieved in 2015).I am an Accredited Member of the BACP.

Specialisations and Expertises
We can all suffer with the above issues at different times in our lives. These issues can be difficult to handle on our own, and seeking support from a therapist can help us explore how we think and feel. This can then hopefully enable us to understand our thoughts and feelings, where they originated, and how we can manage them better in everyday life. Some people feel the need to attend therapy for a long time, others only need to attend for a few sessions. I use an integrative approach which includes CBT, Humanistic Therapies (Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis & Gestalt), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I work with whichever approach suits you best, offering either long-term or short-term therapy for individuals and couples.
Most common issues I support people with:
- Anxiety (including Social Anxiety)
- Fear and loss
- Trauma
- Relationship Issues
- Depression
