Maggie is a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) and former Co-Chair of the Somatic Experiencing Association UK. With more than 15 years' experience, she helps adults recover from trauma, abuse, anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, grief and other overwhelming life experiences by working directly with the nervous system's natural capacity for healing and regulation. Clients seek her out when they feel stuck despite years of personal development or traditional talking therapies.

Anxiety is usually linked with overthinking things, and often leads to convincing ourselves of the worst possible reasons or results of what may be happening in the future. If we tend to feel worried in a negative way about things this is more likely to cause us trouble. Rather than trying to remove anxiety it may be better to recognise it has its uses, a bit like pain which can be useful to alert us to potential physical problems. But anxiety can get out of control, so with some help it can be returned to being useful.

Welcome to my Counselling Page. Seeking therapy can be scary so well done for starting to look for support, to help with some potentially difficult issues.
Online counsellors and therapists

Welcome! I’m Anna, your (online) therapist located in Hull, England.
Since 2011, I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals confront their fears, phobias, and anxieties, guiding them toward a more peaceful and confident life.

Anxiety is exhausting. That constant hum of worry, the racing thoughts, the sense that something is wrong — even when nothing seems to be.
You try to keep going, keep smiling, keep coping… but inside, it’s chaos.
Maybe you have never really felt safe – not with others, not even with yourself."
If you are tired of living like this, you are not alone. And you do not have to do it all on your own anymore.

Helping you feel safer in your body, not just in your thoughts, I provide a warm, trauma-informed and nervous system-focused approach for trauma, anxiety, phobias, grief, and emotional wellbeing.

I am Anissa, a BACP Accredited and experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I offer a compassionate trauma informed approach supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns. I have additional training in working with adults impacted by adoption. My integrative approach draws on Person-Centred and Psychodynamic Theories alongside Relational and Attachment-Based Theories, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and other evidence-based modalities. This allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs.

Hi my name is Samantha, As a qualified counsellor specialising in anxiety, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported in their journey toward healing.
With a gentle Humanistic approach and deep empathy, I help individuals untangle the complex threads of anxiety and rediscover a sense of calm and self-confidence.

I'm a psychotherapist who helps individuals, couples, and families lead more mindful lives. Let's talk about ways to enrich your life.
